It's been a long time since I've a) owned a game console, and b) played a shooter. But I bought a Switch recently, and since everyone's freaking out about Fortnite (and it's free), I figured I'd give it a try over the weekend. It has not been a huge surprise to learn that I am very bad at it.

My favorite activities in Fortnite are finding items and hiding for as long as possible and not encountering anyone. When I do encounter someone, I am definitely going to die because the Joy-Con's joystick has a really limited range of movement and is impossible to aim with. It might also be because I'm bad, but I don't think the joystick is doing me any favors.

If anyone has suggestions for fun houses / gas stations / clubs to hide in, let me know. I haven't figured out the building controls yet so that's out of the question.
