I went to Whole Foods to buy some peaches this weekend, and right in front of the main doors was a table with a big blue cloth over it advertising Amazon Prime and the discounts you'll get on your groceries as a member.

I'd been there one other time since the acquisition, but this was the first time I saw any obvious Amazon branding. There was also a display case against a wall with some locked up Amazon gadgets. But other than that, the company's presence wasn't overwhelming.

As an infrequent Whole Foods shopper, the Prime discounts seem surprisingly hard to take advantage of. You have to link your Amazon account to your phone number... or Whole Foods card... or something. They were handing out fliers about it, but nothing I bought was on sale, so I threw it away.
