Yesterday's events put everyone in a good mood for Valentine's Day, when it was reported that Amazon canceled its plans to bring its second headquarters to Long Island City. But between New Yorkers fighting off Amazon's HQ2 and the MTA's L train shutdown no longer happening, things are going a little too well right now. It's uncharacteristic for New York, so needless to say, I'm a little suspicious.
