A few months ago, I bought a Sonos One because it was on sale for Black Friday. Do I feel some buyer's remorse reading the HomePod reviews today? You bet I do. It sounds like Apple has made a really great-sounding speaker here.

But then I remember the $350 price tag and how limited Siri is and how locked down Apple has made the HomePod, and I look over at my Sonos with a smile. It's not perfect, but at least it has Spotify.

Now, if Apple could launch AirPlay 2 so Sonos can add it to the One... then we'd really be in business.
