Apple has announced that the performance issues with its new MacBook Pros are the result of a missing "digital key," which the company is fixing today in an update. Time will tell if this is the case — I can sort of sympathize, though, given that I lose track of my keys all the time.

The bigger question? What actually is a "digital key"? No one seems to know. But at least everyone's new $6,700 MacBook Pros will start working properly.
