I flew to Florida for a few days last week, and I brought my Nintendo Switch with me. It was the first time I'd taken it out of the house, and — I know I'm a little late to the game here — the experience was pretty amazing.

Florida was kind of rainy while I was there, so my girlfriend and I spent a bunch of time in a hotel room playing Zelda. It was the same thing we would have done at home (not the most exciting vacation, I know), but that was what made it such a neat experience. Nothing was left behind; we were able to pick up Breath of the Wild right where we'd left off and keep on exploring.

Now that we're home again, the Switch is safely plugged in beside my TV, and we're back to playing on the couch. Unfortunately, she keeps getting home before me, so I've barely been able to play.
