I remember my Samsung Galaxy S6. It charged over Micro USB, and every time I went to my friends' apartments, I knew I was responsible for my own charger because none of them owned Android phones. I suffered! My phone would die and without a microUSB anywhere, what was I supposed to do? It meant a lot of bodega trips and dead phone time.

I escaped this life when I eventually upgraded to an iPhone 6S. But not everyone is so lucky.
