Cheers to the Timbuk2 Community, To 2020, I’d like to say “goodbye, let’s never do that again.” Yet, if life in 2020 did not show us that we are all connected, I don’t know what will. The good, the bad, the horrific, and the hopeful – counties, communities, and entire countries have shared in experiences that, prior to 2020, might have been excused or assigned as someone else’s issues. It seems 2020 presented us – globally – with both the opportunity and the challenge of realizing and of living as one. We are thrilled to have survived 2020. As a business, Timbuk2 will emerge more focused and as a team, we will emerge more aligned. Timbuk2 has been an integral part of San Francisco since our founding 30 years ago. Our bags have traveled every inch of the city and Bay Area on the backs, bars, seats, and shoulders of our community of movers and doers; of dancers and shakers; and of travelers and thinkers. As we look toward 2021, we can’t wait to share with you our evolution into sustainable raw materials as we do our part to future-shape the environment, along with our growth plans driven by superior, inspiring product. Here’s to 2021 and the hope that we find our collective, connective, and creative selves again. Thank you for the support you have given us – you are the fuel in our engine.
