Every Day Is An Adventure - TOAD&CO
Supporting our communities and empowering all people to live their fullest lives is at the core of our brand. The recent displays of racism and racial violence towards the Black community cause us to revisit what this core value really means. This email is only an acknowledgement of the problem. From here, we need to be thinking hard about how to drive systematic change, and act on it, unflinchingly.   As we sat down to write this email, we first wanted to be sure we could take meaningful action. Today, we’re starting with a donation to the NAACP, which we know alone is not enough. We’re having conversations about what and how to drive change in every corner of our business, we’re listening to the words being spoken, the ideas being shared, and we’re committing to take action to do better. We’re a small company, but that shouldn’t matter. We all need to be thinking big. We admittedly don’t have all the answers, but we do know that from here, there is only forward.  Here are some of the resources we’ve come across, but this list is by no means exhaustive. Please feel free to share your recommendations with us on Instagram so we can add to it and be better together.
