Aside from carrying exclusively sustainable and socially responsible brands, the PAC store employ adults with disabilities and all proceeds support programs for people with intellectual disabilities. A Quick History Lesson. Toad was based in the Chicago area back in the 90s, and while we were there we met the folks at Search, Inc. Search, Inc, is a local non-profit that provides services and programs thatempower adults with intellectualand developmental disabilities. Together wecooked up a plan: What if we started a joint-venture warehouse where Search clients were trained and employed on warehouse logistics and Toad was the first loyal customer? Fast forward23 years and our warehouse — the Planet Access Warehouse — is thriving.
