The latest fashion in the soccer world is all about making sure your club is up to date on the latest fashion by signing a deal with the latest fashion brand.

Recently, Inter Milan announced a new collaboration with Milanese fashion brand Moncler. The new official formal wear partner of Inter “encapsulates Moncler’s mission to go beyond luxury and fashion to explore new settings, forging a vital link between two iconic brands that call Milan home.”

The tag team between the two got us thinking about other collabs, so here they are. And no, we’re not going to do the obvious PSG x Jordan Brand. Too easy.
 

1. We will start with PSG, though. The French outfit teamed up with A Bathing Ape to make French…outfits… back in 2018. The range featured a remastered Long Down Jacket and complementary t-shirts with the club logo and BAPE ape and shark imagery.
2. Another Milan outfit this time – AC Milan in 2020 collabed with New York brand Paper Planes for an exclusive range of clothing. The pairing was described as an “important step on [the club’s] journey to position AC Milan as a diverse and relevant lifestyle brand that excites and inspires.”
3. An inspired 4th jersey between Juventus and Palace marked a slight change of pace as training apparel, warm up gear and a match-ready kit were part of the lineup in 2019.
4. Most recently, Arsenal dropped a more athletic range of apparel thanks to a pairing with 424 Brand. The set is long gone now, but we hosted the official 424 jersey in our store, so stick with us so you don’t miss the next one.

Lots of things are better when they’re mini; Dogs. M&M’s. Humans.

And soccer fields.

This recent Geoff Gouveia commission in collaboration with Gilt Edge Soccer and Chelsea FC, adds some London flair in Brooklyn New York. It’s not just a manufactured pitch – it’s a full-on piece of artwork.

It reminded us of some of our favorites.

1. In Roissy-en-Brie – Paul Pogba’s hometown – adidas in June debuted the PogPitch, a “Playground of Possibilities.” Used to “inspire the next generation of young footballers in the area,” an absolutely tremendous piece of Pogba artwork adorns the pitch.
2. And another from adidas, even more outlandish, who could forget the Zidane “ZZ Playground?”
3. Soccer and social issues collide on this NY Red Bulls pair of mini pitches. In Collaboration with Black Players for Change, West Side HS in New Jersey got this amazing set up.
4. Finally, U.S. Soccer has been working tirelessly for years to place mini pitches in underserved communities, creating a gathering place and making families and children more active as a result.

On December 17th, 2021, Spiderman: No Way Home premiered in theaters.

In the run-up to the highly anticipated film, Tom Holland Spiderman did a round of press to drum up even more hype. You may have seen him swing by PSG a few weeks ago.

Well, as it turns out, even before the launch of a critically well-received film, the sport of soccer has always been a bit obsessed with Spiderman. For example…

• More No Way Home promos – Son Heung-min spent some time last month with Tom Holland Spiderman and then dedicated his next goal celebration to the hero
• Who could forget Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s dueling Spidey celebrations (see above) at St. Etienne and Dortmund?
• Maybe you prefer Jamie Vardy head-to-toe as Spiderman rather than Auba with just a mask? Then have we got the story for you.
• A beautiful gesture in 2016 from Hertha Berlin’s Ben-Hatira, who celebrated as Spiderman at the behest of an 8-year-old Berlin fan who had been battling cancer.
• And an old favorite, the Arsenal Christmas party (above). We don’t remember who’s in the Spidey costume and that’s part of the appeal.
