Cover Story: Doechii Is Our August 2023 Cover Star

Doechii is sick as hell. At rapping, singing, dancing, and putting on a mean fit, but today, she is actually not feeling well. Instead of hugging me like she wants to, she sits at the other end of a desk at the TDE studio in Los Angeles County.

Rather than the experimental glam and fun fashions Doechii usually wears, she’s dressed down in a gray crop top, oversize sweatpants, a silk bonnet, and slides that show her bedazzled hot pink pedicure. She doesn’t know what’s causing these recent symptoms. Then one thing comes to mind—she’s been working really hard.
