These Are the Biggest Fall Hair-Color Trends

Everyone loves the summer, but let's be honest: There's something special about the autumn. Sure, it brings about a sharp change in weather, crunching leaves, and cozy home decor, but we at Allure are most excited about the fresh crop of fall hair colors. (And Halloween, obviously. According to colorist Tiffanie Richards, this is the best season to revamp your color as it stands a better chance of retaining its hue and luster: “The sun is so strong in the summer that even walking down the street for ten minutes can dull and pull tones,” she says. Plus, she simply has an affinity for the autumnal shades that tend to trend this time of year, noting that “the cooler weather asks for warmer tones, which are also the most youthful for the skin.”
