The race was held at Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas located in Austin Texas. If you’re familiar with Red Bull and their events, you know they are top notch. Red Bull strives to be the best, not only in the beverage industry, but also with their athletes and merchandise as well. Another company that stives to be better than the competition is HJC. HJC has been making helmets for the powersports industry since the early 1970’s. Top Riders like Joe Robert representing HJC and Red Bull in Moto2. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. If you haven’t noticed Red Bull is very selective with who uses their logo or what it goes on. If you don’t believe me, when was the last time you saw a free Red Bull Sticker? | | With that being said, what better way to release a new Red Bull collaboration with HJC than at this weekend’s MotoGP race at GP of the Americas. Top world riders, top motorcycle manufactures, competing in a premier worldwide event. Introducing the HJC RPHA 1N Red Bull Graphic. This collaboration is a limited-edition graphic. It’s printed on HJC’s flagship helmet and dedicated completely to this weekend’s race with the track logo printed on each side. Since this is the only stop on American soil for MotoGP, HJC & Red Bull went with a red, white, and blue color scheme. They even took it a step further and paid homage the lone star state including a star just under the Red Bull logo. | | What do I think about the graphic? Personally, I love it. HJC took their top-of-the-line helmet that’s utilizing the most advanced helmet technology in the world and teamed up with Red Bull. They incorporated vintage style lines found on helmets from the 60’s and 70’s. However, in no way am I saying this helmet looks outdated. On the contrary, I believe HJC & Red Bull nailed it with the perfect combination of a modern profile and vintage look. | | If you’re in love with this helmet like I am, get in line. The weekend of October 3rd is simply the announcement of the graphic. The helmet won’t be available until the spring of 2022. And yes, the HJC RPHA 1N will be offered in other graphics and solid colors, but again these options won’t be available until early 2022, but I’ll go into detail on the 1N in another article. For now, enjoy the final rounds of MotoGP racing and have a good one. | Contact BikeBandit.com's Customer Support Team! 1-888-339-3888 Monday - Friday: 7am – 4pm Pacific Contact Us | Order History | |
