The team at Champs Sports stands with our customers during this painful time. We want to assure you of our shared belief that Black Lives Matter. The senseless deaths of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd have served as catalysts for Foot Locker, Inc. to take a stand against racism and systemic injustice.

As we have listened to many of our team members and customers over the last several days, there is an acute pain and emotional toll that these events have taken on everyone. In an effort to both pay our respects and celebrate the memories of so many Black lives that have been wrongfully taken from us, as well as aid in the healing of our team members, we will be closing stores across North America. This will give our team members time to reflect on the recent tragic events, mourn for Black lives lost and begin to heal. Team members will be paid during this time.

• Stores in North Carolina will be closed on Saturday, June 6, to honor the family service which will take place in Mr. Floyd’s birthplace.

• All North American stores will be closed on Monday, June 8, to observe the celebration of Mr. Floyd's life.

• Stores in Texas will be closed Tuesday, June 9, to observe Mr. Floyd’s private service in his long-time hometown of Houston.
