At home, many Republicans have embraced the building of a detention site for illegal immigrants in the Florida Everglades they gleefully call “Alligator Alcatraz”; the party even flogs branded caps and t-shirts. But here too, not all Republicans are happy, and Donald Trump’s overall approval rating on immigration has plunged into negative territory. |
