If you’re going to make warm-weather style moves, now’s the time. To help, we crowdsourced your shopping list straight from the folks at GQ HQ. Up today: intrepid commerce writer Gerald Ortiz takes us through what he’s coveting right now.
In Gerald’s words: “Summer is my least favorite season. My approach is simply to ignore the heat and, within reason, carry on dressing as I normally would in more comfortable weather. The majority of my time is spent in an air-conditioned office, anyway, so layers are still on the table—albeit with lighter fabrics and looser silhouettes—as are dark colors. Lightweight parkas, humongous, flowy pants, and poplin shirts, etc. Leaning into accessories to fill out the rest is key, too. Think funky belts, slick shades, and quirky bags. Go forth, forget the heat, and dress on.”
