At the center of all this stands the choice of materials and the research that went into creating and designing with them.

JAPANESE OXFORD NYLON

This fabric is stonewashed in order to create a rich, varied texture. No two pieces are exactly the same because of this method. This particular piece is cut in a slightly boxy fit, and comes unlined to make full use of the fabric's lightweight nature.

CRISP POPLIN

A fabric much-loved in countries with permanently warm climates, poplin is extremely lightweight and airy. This jacket is perfect for wearing on its own when the days are blistering, or layering over or under when it's time to really start dressing again.

CREPE NYLON

Another fabric we sourced from Japan, this fabric has a slightly crinkled look to it for that effortless vibe. These shorts — which embody a retro aesthetic not dissimilar from ‘90s windbreakers — are perfect to pack for your summer getaways, as you don't have to worry about them getting wrinkled in your suitcase.

LOOSE KNIT

This short-sleeve knit takes it back to the ‘50s. Inspired by bowling shirts from that era, we've revamped the classic style by transforming it into a lightweight, compact, and breezy option for those who crave more than T-shirts this season.

WATER-RESISTANT RIPSTOP

Another gem of a fabric from Japan, this ripstop nylon is commonly used in the shell of puffer jackets. These cargo pants are guaranteed to be one of the most durable pairs you own — they're even reinforced with a double layer at the knees and back seat. Perfect for skaters, bikers, and adventurers of all kinds.
