Avoid calculating the value of your dog's life.

Alexis -

Emergencies always strike when you least expect them. My friend's recent story struck me to the core...something that is actually extremely common, but that no dog or dog owner should have to go through...

My friend just recently posted this on her facebook page:

"Hi! I'm Bexley's mom, Mandi. Tonight we rushed Bexley to the emergency vet after he broke out in hives, vomited, and then essentially collapsed. Thankfully we have a great emergency vet, and they were able to get him in right away. He's suffering from anaphylaxis and has to stay overnight, maybe longer, and get a plasma transfusion among other treatments. This new unexpected cost comes at a difficult time. We will do whatever it takes to make sure our Bexley is healthy, and appreciate any assistance to help defray the costs! Thank you, and we will provide updates on his progress!"

After messaging her I found out that the costs to stabilize Bexley were $4,923...

While emergency veterinary care costs are skyrocketing just like healthcare for humans, dog owners aren't about to weigh the value of their dog's life - and they shouldn't have to. That's why most pet owners end up absorbing the costs... Yes, even if it means crippling their finances.

Here's the great thing...

Pet insurance is much more common now and there are many plans to compare to fit your dog's specific needs and your budget. (Some options as low as $20 per month)

Here at iHeartDogs, we've created a way to compare quotes on the best pet insurance plans - a tool that I recommend EVERY dog owner review. (Free and instant quotes)

Emergencies are way more common than you think, and you shouldn't ever have to face a life or death decision for your furry family member.

You can use this tool (completely free) to calculate and compare the best options for your pup here >>> Pet Insurance Quote Tool

PS - I'm grateful to report that Bexley has made a full recovery, and Bexley is now covered under a pet insurance plan in the case of another costly vet visit.
