The celebration of makeup artistry returns to the Pasadena Convention Center on January 14 - 15, 2023 for the 26th annual International Make-Up Artist Trade Show (IMATS).

Pro artists, leaders and brands from around the world will converge again to continue our mission to connect, inspire, inform and empower.

A panel discussion with Department Head makeup artist, Amy L Forsythe, Rocco Gaglioti, Devin S. Morales, Lisa Poe and Nataleigh Verrengia from Stranger Things. We'll discuss their amazing contribution to this juggernaut Netflix series. 
Eddie Duyos is a NYC based make-up artist and Global educator with a degree in Fashion Design & skilled in Make-up Artistry ranging from special effects, theater, runway, film, & editorial. With over 25 years of experience working with top beauty brands and vast work in editorial he has developed a keen eye for color composition, and artistic trends. Because of his fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Eddie has been an Instructional Designer for the U.S., Mexico, Canada & Brazil and is currently the leading Pro Education & Artistry at MAKE UP FOR EVER for North America. Eddie’s vast experience on set for global campaigns has also given him the opportunity to work on Global Artistry teams for New York Fashion Week, as a Global Artist, lead talent on brand videos, and key facilitator for recognized Global Artistry brands.
The ground breaking makeup created by the great Dick Smith for David Bowie and the amazing mummies for The Hunger. The original team under Dick Smith: Kevin Haney, Peter Montagna, Neal Martz, Doug Drexler and Carl Fullerton will join to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this amazing film. The original molds and never seen before photos will be on display.
Marika D’Auteuil is one of the most inspiring young artists today. She hails from a small town in northern Quebec, Canada. Marika has been able to count Le Cirque du Soleil, Nivea, Dior, Sephora & Make Up For Ever among her clients and her work has been seen on television as well as in international magazines and on Fashion Week runways. She will be doing a demo of her beautiful creations live on stage.
A Tribute to Todd McIntosh. We'll be celebrating the career and legacy of one of the most accomplished and diverse makeup artists in television and motion pictures. Also his significant contribution as an educator. Leaders and veterans of our industry will come together to honor Todd.
