As a member of our Club Veg, you are our most valued guest. John Haywood Chief Executive Officer Garden Fresh Restaurants I am writing to give you some important information, as well as my personal assurance, with regard to the safety of dining with us at all times, and especially during the current COVID-19 outbreak. At Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes, we have always practiced exceptionally high standards for cleanliness and food safety. This is because we make our food from "scratch" using fresh ingredients. We control, and are responsible for our food literally from "field to fork", through or own distribution company and local kitchens. Within all our locations, we follow rigorous daily sanitation and personal hygiene procedures with our team members including frequent hand washing, use of plastic gloves, sanitizing contact surfaces regularly, routine exchange of serving utensils, and a consistent "stay at home if sick" policy. Additionally, we partner with Everclean, a third party company and division of UL (formerly Underwriters Laboratories ) that works with our restaurants by auditing, inspecting and training strict food safety and health best practices. For our guests, there are hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance of every restaurant, which have now been highlighted with additional signage. Finally, we are continuing to monitor and follow all additional CDC and local Health Department recommendations for prevention. The health and safety of our guests has always been our number one priority. You have my personal assurance that you, your friends and family can dine with confidence at any of our locations.
