And we’re off! The men’s spring 2026 collections got underway in London over the weekend with a show from the irrepressible Martine Rose, complete with a market featuring the work of 22 local makers, and a fashion happening by the audacious Charles Jeffrey of Charles Jeffrey Loverboy at Abbey Road Studios. London’s Men’s Week may have been suspended this year, but there’s no stopping creativity like this. Sarah Mower writes that Rose “shocks and shifts silhouettes in ways that become adopted into the vernacular.” Having architected the current oversize look all the way back in 2013, “in this collection she worked on exactly the opposite: clothes that are tight and pulled into the body.” We expect the rest of fashion will soon be following her lead. |
