Whether you homeschool or send your kids to school, the end of school is quickly approaching. I’m feelin’ the crunch this week π©, so today we’re focusing on surviving the end of school year.
1. Go diaper-free before the end of the school year! πΌ
Are you trying to get your toddler potty trained before your big kids wrap up the school year? I remember the first time we took a vacation without having to lug duffle bags of cloth diaper supplies… it was glorious! Here are a few resources to help you reach your goal:

2. Swap out harsh cleaners for this DIY versionπ§΄
Whether you’re doing a little spring cleaning or helping your child clean out his locker at school, use this DIY all-purpose cleaner. All you need is:- A spray bottle
- 1 teaspoon of organic witch hazel
- 10-15 drops of Thieves essential oil
- 2 ounces of distilled water
3. Planning for a screen-free summer? πΊ
School’s nearly done, and for many kids, that means outdoor play, summer vacations, pool time, camps, and afternoons spent at the park. But let's face it — the screens are beckoning them as well. Here are a few indoor screen-free activities for the dog days:
- Montessori-style toys
- Puzzles π§©
- Art and crafts (stock up on supplies now so you’ll be ready for summer days!)
- Sensory toys or bins
- Musical instruments and/or lessons
- Books

May your coffee be strong and your nerves calm. Take care, mama!
