Are you even in fashion if you didn’t binge watch the first three episodes of In Vogue: The 90s when they dropped on Hulu yesterday? In all seriousness, the new documentary series is must-watch TV for runway obsessives. The vintage footage of Tom Ford’s breakthrough collection for Gucci and the mad crush of people trying desperately to get into Alexander McQueen’s first show in New York City circa 1996 (Anna Wintour and her Vogue team included) is not to be missed. Nor is the commentary from Vogue editors of that time, from Grace Coddington and Tonne Goodman to the irrepressible Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. Happy viewing! |
