Lifehack Letting go can be positive and easy (here's a practical example)
One of the emails that I wrote a little while back about giving up seems to have stuck a chord! I've been getting a lot of feedback on it since.
A lot of the stories you've shared tend a little towards the heavy side - letting go of a job, a years long habit, or even painful relationships. Some of you have asked how it's possible to apply this principle in a lighter, easier way.
Well, you definitely can! Letting go doesn't need to be on only the heavy-weight parts of your life. You can make tons of positive impacts by starting small too.
One of the easiest examples is the simple act of decluttering. Decluttering is an exercise in letting go. You're getting rid of all the superfluous possessions you have, which may be anchoring you to the past, or don't really contribute to helping you move forward.
Besides the immediate practical benefit of helping you physically declutter your home, office, or whichever physical space you're targeting, it also helps you mentally declutter simply by running through the process. Your mind will feel lighter and refreshed.
This doesn't sound too hard right? Getting rid of things is a lot easier than some other parts of your life. To give you a helping hand, I've got a super practical guide to teach you how you can get started.
