Hey again! It's mid week and I feel like today is great timing to give you some deeper food for thought.

Let me begin with a question:

How well do you think you know yourself?

I used to believe I knew myself very well, until I started finding out that I didn't! How did that start happening? Well, it began when I tried doing a little exercise each day to review my day. It was an exercise in self-reflection.

After just a week, this simple little daily self-reflection exercise opened my eyes. I realized I had habits that I didn't even know about, which were directly responsible for some of my health conditions at the time. I also found out tons of little areas I could immediately improve in my life which hadn't even registered before in my mind.

That first experience of reading my daily notes was like discovering a whole new inner-world. It was the undercurrent driving my life, and I had no idea that it existed.

It wasn't long afterwards that I realized almost all successful people also do this exercise in some shape or form. It's because it really works. It's one of the most powerful ways to truly understand yourself on a deeper level. By deeper level, I mean on a level that you can make profound changes to your perception, attitude, and outlook towards life.

Today, my self-reflection exercise has grown and changed over the years, but there's one thing that I wouldn't dare to claim again - and it's that I completely know myself! Each day I can discover at least one new thing about me, which I can improve on.

It's the power of self-reflection!

Today, I want to share another great article by Tracy Kennedy about this very topic. She's written a wonderful step-by-step guide on how to start practicing self-reflection to make it work for you in your daily life.

Read the article here:

I really hope that this introduces you to start a new and very positive habit. I this is helpful, please send your feedback! Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences.

To end off, here's a really insightful quote that I want to share. It reminds me of the importance of understanding yourself, and how it's the source of true personal power. If this quote resonates with you, please feel free to download it, share it, or even make it your wallpaper. Enjoy!

Best,

- Leon
