FIBERSTORY RESTOCK!

Springtime has finally arrived here in the Northeast! Flowers are bursting into bold, fresh color...and so is our shop, thanks to a dazzling Fiberstory restock full of ultra-springy tonals, lively variegated, and vividly speckled hand-dyes!

FAVE SOCK

Fave Sock in hazy, cammy, willow, dandy, plum

The dyer behind Fiberstory, Sarah has created a kaleidoscopic palette of incredibly sophisticated colors. You'll have a hard time picking a single favorite colorway in Fave Sock - which isn't a bad thing considering most of Sarah's colors play well with each other! She's made it practically effortless to create gorgeously wearable fades and inspired color-melted knits!

And no matter what you knit, Fiberstory feels great worn next to your skin! Comprised of 100% superwash merino, each easy-care yarn in the Fiberstory family knits up with fantastic stitch definition and a luscious drape.

We used just one skein of Fave Sock to knit this stunning Lightweight Hipster shawl by Joji Locatelli. Swathes of garter stitch are combined with crossed stitches and fringe, giving this shawl plenty of interest but not making it too busy to be a canvas for variegated colors.

You'll need:

MERIDIAN
THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE

Pair a tonal skein of Fave Sock with one that's wildly variegated, and you're set for the bold and beautiful Meridian shawl from designer Annie Baker! This shawl is knit on the bias in easy, breezy garter stitch with a stylishly modern lone row of yarn over lace.

You'll need:

Choose a 3-skein Fave Sock fade and cast on for Laura Patterson's Through the Grapevine bias knit shawl. Bands of eyelet lace break up tidy rows of garter stitch, keeping this wrap light and springy, perfect to wear on those chilly spring days and cool summer nights!

New to Fiberstory? Try our Sedge Cowl-  a free pattern in our Journal! This cowl is an homage to discovering your favorite Fave Sock colorway. This fantastic, 1-skein project is a bias-knit that's Kitchener stitched together to result in a long loop - it's practically perfect for travel and TV knitting!

GRADIENT SETS
Sarah has also put together tonal Fiberstory Gradient Sets comprised of 7 ombre-dyed skeins totaling 560 yards. Each set knits up beautifully on its own or can be used as a backdrop for showcasing her Fave Sock colorways!

The Kalari Shawl, by Ambah O' Brien, is a classic garter + eyelet lace triangle shawl that's a fun canvas for enjoying the ombre colors of Fiberstory Gradient Sets! We knit our sample in the Squeeze gradient, beginning with the pale buttery and sunshiney yellows and gradually melting into deep, rich ochres. Read all about this beautiful shawl in our Journal post!
