Noro Kakigori is back in stock with 10 gorgeous new colorways!

Soft, light, and drapey, this DK weight blend of cotton, silk, viscose, and polyamide is available in a cheerful color palette of summery shades.

Kakigori is chock full of fun, tweedy flecks that pop and shine, giving way to the subtlest of stripes! It comes in giant 660-yard balls, meaning you'll only need one or two balls to complete your warm-weather sweaters and accessories!

CLASSIC TEE

Kakigori is an outstanding choice for colorful knitted summer tees! We used it to knit a Classic Tee by designer Kay Hopkins, and it's destined to become a summer staple! We love how this pattern incorporates all of the best things about a comfy v-neck tee shirt but in a modern way that allows Kakigori's colors and flecks to take center stage!

This tee is knit top-down, is completely seamless, and virtually finish-free - just block it and weave in your ends (and there won't be many since Kakigori has such great yardage!) 

You'll need:

• 2-3 balls of Kakigori - we used the naha colorway.
• US 4 + 5 16" circular needles
• US 4 + 5 32" circular needles
• Classic Tee pattern

Our clean, classic Garter Triangle Shawl is more than just a free pattern; it's a one-skein wonder!

Using just one ball of your favorite Kakigori color, this generously sized shawl works up quickly with a fabric that's light, drapey, and perfect for summer wear, although you may find it makes it into your year-round wardrobe as well! Easily contained in one of our favorite Baggu pouches, our Garter Triangle Shawl makes an ideal travel project as you're hitting the road this summer!

To knit the Garter Triangle Shawl, you'll need:

• 1 skein of Kakigori
• US 8 32" circular needles

Please note that the colorway shown in our sample is currently unavailable due to supply chain issues. Try the utsunomiya or inazawa for a similar look!
