That could be good news for more rural parts of the United States, where the cost of living is affordable but historic sources of employment have long been in decline.
But there’s a catch. As Jared Lindzon explains, these areas often suffer from poor internet connectivity. It may take both federal investment and new technology to get them up to speed.
