FLYING TO ISRAEL |
It’s gotten a lot easier to visit Israel over the last few years.
Aside from reopening to tourists, Israel has seen a number of new nonstop routes from the U.S. Just last week, Delta inaugurated a new nonstop service between Boston and Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, American recently launched flights from New York and Miami. United also increased its service to the tiny nation, now offering nearly 30 weekly flights.
Getting there has become more comfortable, too. Israel’s flag carrier El Al replaced much of its long-haul fleet with modern 787 Dreamliners and is retrofitting its aging Boeing 777s with new cabins. Additionally, Delta is deploying its swanky A330-900neos with enclosed suites on its new route, and Virgin Atlantic is using its 787s for flights between London and Tel Aviv. There are also some very comfortable one-stop options with Emirates thanks to normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
