THE NEW LGA |
New York’s LaGuardia Airport, once famously described by then-Vice President Joe Biden as something you’d find “in a third-world country,” is well on its way to being one of the nicest in the country.
In June of 2020, we saw the completion of the airport’s first big redevelopment project when the new Terminal B Arrivals and Departures Hall opened. Now, the airport has hit another major milestone with the opening of the brand-new Terminal C — Delta’s terminal — on Saturday.
The new $4 billion terminal is nearly double the size of the two terminals it replaces and is bright, modern and airy. Passenger-experience improvements include fancy restrooms, new concession options and power and USB outlets throughout. The terminal is also home to the world’s largest Delta Sky Club.
TPG has been closely following the construction progress. Get caught up: The rest of the terminal is expected to be completed in 2024. |
