INTROCDUCING DAPPLE

Brooklyn Tweed launches are always exciting, but especially so when it's a brand new yarn!. Introducing Dapple, the latest addition to the Brooklyn Tweed lineup! This American merino and organic cotton blend delivers all the rustic beauty that BT is known for in a soft, tonal new yarn.
Dapple in cerise.
Dapple's soft organic cotton brings a rich tonality to the dye process. Each skein is different and the hues range from light to dark within each colorway- no dyelots to coordinate! This, along with the cotton slubs, brings a dappled quality to each skein. Now you can create fades, stripes and ombres- Brooklyn Tweed style!
Dapple in cosmos.
Just like our beloved Shelter, Dapple is woolen spun, giving it a lofty feel and maintaining the softness of the organic cotton while adding the memory and bounce of merino. Brooklyn Tweed's goal was to create a yarn that knits like wool and wears like cotton; mission accomplished!

The Urtia Hat is fun way to give Dapple a go! Jared Flood uses a half-brioche technique alternating columns of rib and brioche to make a plush texture with year round wearing potential!

US4 16-inch circular needles and double pointed needles
Urtia Pattern

When ordering Dapple, we encourage you to be as adventurous as you are with hand dyed skeins. All the shades are beautiful, and part of the fun is the surprise!

That said, if you'd like a range of light to dark or mostly one or the other, leave us a note in the notes section of your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request. You can also call us at 215-893-9939 to discuss the color options.
