Following this week's valuations of American AAdvantage and Delta Medallion status, it's time to move on to United's MileagePlus program, and its Premier elite tiers. We evaluated the full suite of benefits, including PlusPoints upgrades, lounge access, expanded award availability, free onboard snacks and more.

Here's how our United Premier valuations break down:

It'll be harder for some United flyers to earn status next year, as the carrier is changing up the qualification requirements — customers will reach each level based on airfare, rather than miles flown — though status earned in 2019 will remain valid through the beginning of 2021.
