In addition to lucrative sign-up bonuses (Southwest Companion Pass, anyone?!), you can expect benefits like free checked bags, priority boarding, lounge access and more. It's easy to get a lot of value even if you only fly a couple times a year.
Want $14 worth of miles just for setting up a new app? United's offering a 1,000-mile bonus for downloading MileagePlus X and enrolling a co-branded credit card. You'll be able to continue earning miles, too, whenever you use your registered card to pay the tab at participating restaurants and shops.
