When TPG editor Kristy Tolley told me she would be interviewing two of the stars from Bravo’s “Below Deck Down Under,” I immediately added the show to my watchlist. The series follows an Australia-based yacht crew and their luxury charter guests.
After the first episode, I was hooked. I could see why everyone was so excited for Season Two of the show, which premieres today. Like any good reality show, there’s plenty of drama, but the experienced and well-traveled crew also has a lot to teach travel enthusiasts like me.
I stopped watching the show long enough to read Kristy’s stellar interview with two of the crew members, captain Jason Chambers and chief stewardess Aesha Scott. They had some truly inspirational tips. Chambers, a native Australian, shared his favorite (i.e., most breathtaking) Down Under destinations, and Scott, who lives in New Zealand, told Kristy the best way to tour her home country.
