I love when Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny show up at my house, but I get just as excited to see an Amazon delivery driver pull up out front with a stack of packages just for me. This week, that stack will likely be even bigger than normal because Amazon’s annual Prime Day sales event starts today.

Here at TPG, we’ve already been tracking the best ways to save. We will be publishing stories all day long with the top deals on tech purchases and travel, so keep an eye out.

There are plenty of great deals to be had, but the savings don’t have to stop there. We are always looking for ways to stretch our dollars further or earn a few extra reward points, and there are even ways to do that on Amazon Prime Day.

If you are an American Express cardholder, you may be eligible for up to 50% in savings on Amazon purchases when you use points to cover a portion of your purchase. There are a number of other credit cards, including the Amazon Prime Visa Card and the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, that offer top cash back and rewards for your Prime Day purchases.
