Looking back on TPG’s most-read stories last week, you and I, dear reader, have a lot in common. I tore through TPG news reporter Caroline Tanner’s story on tips to avoid overpacking as I myself was packing for four days in Florida with my family. We utilized many of the crowdsourced tips shared in the article, including using packing cubes, rolling our clothes, organizing outfits ahead of time and packing my trusty travel makeup.

I’ve also been in the nerve-wracking spot of waiting by the mailbox for my new passport to come in (luckily, I won’t have to deal with that again for a few years), and was fascinated by TPG senior cruise writer Ashley Kosciolek’s clever method for bypassing long waits for passport renewals.

And maybe I should be embarrassed to admit this, but I didn’t know until recently that there was a difference between direct and nonstop flights, but there definitely is.
