WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TODAY 03/05/2019 SOUTHWEST TO HAWAII Southwest has finally begun selling tickets to Hawaii, with the first flight taking off in less than two weeks, on March 17. A week from Sunday, the airline will fly its Boeing 737-800 from Oakland (OAK) to Honolulu (HNL), before eventually adding a handful of additional routes and service with the newer 737 MAX 8. To celebrate, Southwest initially offered fares from just $49 or 1,950 points each way, giving loyalists one incredible Companion Pass opportunity.
