WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TODAY

BA CLUB SUITE

British Airways' current business-class product, called Club World, was first introduced in 2006. Naturally, it's now quite dated, and lags far behind the competition, such as Qatar's Qsuite and Delta One.

Today, the carrier finally unveiled its very first enclosed business-class seat with a sliding door, called Club Suite. Hailed as "truly revolutionary" — in the world of BA, at least — improvements include:

  • A 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access
  • Gate-to-gate seat-back entertainment
  • 40% more storage than BA Club World

Going forward, Club Suite will be installed on all of BA's new aircraft, starting with the Airbus A350-1000, which is expected to enter service later this year.
